    How do I set up a meeting with the International Business department in the City of Dallas?


    Contact the Office of International Business by email, letting us know when you will be in Dallas and the purpose of your visit. We will have a representative contact you to help arrange your meetings and requested tours and assist you with questions.

    Yes, the City of Dallas Office of International Business can help you locate office or warehouse space to meet your company’s needs in Dallas. Please email us with the following information:

    What are the demographic characteristics for the City of Dallas?

    How do I learn what other international businesses are already established in Dallas?


    The Office of International Business is currently developing an international business directory that will list the local and foreign firms engaged in international business in Dallas. It is expected to be available in 2009.

    What types of licenses will I need for my business?


    The types of licenses required will depend on the type of business you establish. Texas Online publishes a list of Licenses, Permits and Registrations for the State of Texas. For individual questions or help, please email us.

    Does Dallas offer tax incentives for companies?


    Tax incentives for businesses are offered through the City of Dallas’ Office of Economic Development.
